The Builder
The job needing ground work — excavation, grading, and foundation drilling staked and bored before the frame rises.
BRT runs its site business the way a cut runs a grade — every job staked, every layer bored, every scope matched to its iron.
BRT CONTRACTING LLC is an Ohio limited liability company headquartered at 5109 Treeridge Street, Columbus — the central-Ohio corridor where excavation, demolition, and site work converge.
The outfit runs four scopes on one site: excavation and earthmoving — digging, grading, trenching, and drainage; foundation and drilling — caissons, piers, piles, and test boring; demolition and removal — wrecking, gutting, and dismantling; and site work — paving, fencing, erection, and rental.
Site work is a grade trade. A cut has a stake. A bore has a log. A scope has iron. The scopes stay distinct because the ground demands it — but every job answers to the same site rules: staked before cut, bored before foundation, graded before done.
Four different scopes, one operating standard — the rules written at the head of every work order.
Every job carries a stake — survey, grade, and boundary marked before the iron moves. A cut without a stake is a cut that can't be graded.
Soil tested before the pier drills — boring, depth, and bearing noted on the work order. A foundation without a log is a guess.
Equipment runs the scope it fits — digging on digging, drilling on drilling, wrecking on wrecking. Mismatched iron is lost time.
The outfit declares what the ground holds — a fill that isn't compacted isn't called done, and a cut that isn't graded isn't finished.
The job needing ground work — excavation, grading, and foundation drilling staked and bored before the frame rises.
The site needing clearance — demolition, wrecking, and removal that clears the ground for the next build.
The property needing finish — paving, fencing, pools, and site work that closes the job.
"Four scopes, one site. The job shouldn't have to ask what the ground needs — the stake should already say it."
